DIY – Bling Out Your Shades

press-stick-11-1024x389

While stalking on the web for all kinda cool ways to dapper up your shades, I got inspired to create my own beaded take on this tricked out style. It’s a way more delicate than flat-back Blingies, and a way more shiny than your sparkly nail paint. To know more about  beading your own stylish sunglasses, let’s check out down here.

I used my old old pair of sunglasses, which i already thrown in Junk just coz its frame started looking dull to me,  they were not at all attractive anymore. so i just decided to bling them out only and give them a trendy look.

Here we go Gals!

Beaded-4-Glue

Take the few drops of glue on a paper plate, Use the tooth pick to apply that generous amount of glue on your sunglasses. please don’t apply on your lips 😉 i like your talkative personality!

Now here is a trick, Keep your eyes and mind open! To place your beads in a straight line, Use a sewing needle then press them into the glue and slide the pin out very slowly. YOU GOT ME, right!?

Beaded-5-Pin-645x429

Lets continue  to cover the front area of your sunglasses. Did you notice that this pin is not only helped me to place the beads in straight line but helped me to apply the beads without getting glue all over my fingers as well! I decided to go with two tone of beads with light beads on top and silver beads on the bottom. I am sure you liked this idea.

Beaded-6-Beads

In the middle area of your sunglasses you’ll have to be the most precise, and will probably have to change the angle a bit of your bead lines, like i did.

Let dry these sunnies overnight before wearing. lets beat the heat with our stellar style! 🙂

Spring Exhibition in Surat

Rain Rain Go Away, we need to visit the sale!

Surat’s Local Newspaper babbled about the exhibition @ Maheshwari Bhawan in Surat that day. Gals like me are always crazy about shopping especially when it says SALE. It was raining that evening as per my plan I decided to visit the exhibition and look what all i found there..

As per my personal opinion, the stuff was expensive then ever and i could see the few bunches of Gujarati ladies hopping over the shops like they have never seen this much stuff before even tho it was not that cool.

Even i got a cheetah print Bohemian styled Red and Black Dress

What i Liked there:-

  • Interacted with the different groups/people in your city.
  • Cultural themed dresses & Jewelry
  • Brands from different cities
  • Especially liked the Neon Shop there
  • Style Awareness

What I didn’t Like :-

  • Asked to give the call on Specific #num, i hate advertisement texts on my cell 😦
  • Gals get mad, when its sale. they push you in the crowd
  • Too Much Expensive stuff
  • Parking problem

Fashion quotient @ work

nothing-to-wear

While I’ve chosen the theme of this week is to walk off with ‘minimal’ and let’s not forget that most of us are working women, here’s a quick snap on how to dress up elegantly for work. This look is assembled and can be transformed in any way you’d like. in my opinion, I would wear this look @ my work, again and again.

official

  1. . This is a look is sported by the perceptive lot of women, who usually know their Gucci from Pucci. Over here this 9XIS Womens Boyfriend Blazer can be paired with these Black Cropped Stretch-cotton Trousers.
  2. Pair off your look with the Charlotte Olympia “Dolly” Black suede and Gold accented Sling backs. The classic black suede combined with the elegant gold heel and platform makes this a seasonal must have.
  3. Being a fashion cognisant female, Rolex is a must have ornament to show off.
  4. Stay comfortable with this Jane Norman Pu Satchel Bagor if you want to play it up, Hang this bag on your arm near the wrist while walking on the street for a more appropriate work look.
  5. Accessories with this structured Gold Plated Alloy Crystal & Pearl Decoration Stud & Diamond Zacapa Ring to complete the look.
  6. Being Minimal yet sleek!  Like me, you won’t leave your house with your goggles & Celebration Foundation Set, Medium Beige to be sure to make your otherwise monochrome collection pop.

Boho-chic Black Dress

The week seemed to have passed by us all very quickly.  But the party spirits seem to still be up in me. In tandem with that, I’m heading out for an early-drinks with my friends tonight. The weather in Surat right now is slightly cold or you can say is mixed and the party scenes have shifted to quaint rooftop bars that enjoy the view of the old-world Delhi.  Here in Surat, whatever you fancy. I’m going to be spending my evening in a undertow of modernism against the background of the old school charm. Thus, the ‘effort’ to get dressed appropriately is  going to be minimal. My style take on for this evening is boho-chic, considering the party place and the time, thus, inspiring me to dress down for the occasion. Take a look at what I’ve put together for my Friday night fun out: Still need to put on some accessories and slap some makeup on my face.

Summer Remixing & my sad story

I am really obsessed with the mix & match idea. We’re the group of 5 gals and i must say that i am the one who has the guts to carry any style. I always like my outfits to look lil sleek yet funky…And Neon was my obsession this summer, whether i am wearing the neutral tones outfit anyhow i have to give em a lil funky touch by adding some clutch in my hand or the neck piece. Sometimes ppl call me fashionista/or Fashion Guru.

And let me tell you how i got obsessed with the mix and match idea:- Our last trip to Bangkok was in March 2013 and in my busy working schedule, i got no time to do my shopping before we leave for the Bangkok. As usual i bought some of the outfits from here and there.. I was happy with my shopping as it took just 20 min to bought all my dresses. Finally i reached Bangkok and what i saw there.. I was the girl in some boring jeans and top. some time i felt myself a poor girl from the small town.. Some time i got so unsecured with my Handsome Hubby (i never like when some sexy hot gals are passing through and he see them ;P ) Then and there in Bangkok, i decided to some shopping, keeping mix & match idea in my mind.

Hope you also like the Summer Remixing idea!
